It doesn't make as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install, and it works well. However when you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its huge dock that serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a clean sink as well as the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning task, recall the robot, or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle a child lock, which is a nice touch for parents worried about children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in recognizing objects.

Although this is not a common occurrence however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen and especially because the X1 Omni does not come with an "stuck" status alert on its application.

Another potential downside is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during a cleaning session. You will need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market which is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
