WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll an exact version.
