Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Look for models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.

Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or rug.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum cleaner vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best robot cleaner mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes.
