The Iora is a bassinet that can be placed at the bedside that helps parents feel closer to their infant as they sleep. It can be adjusted up and down, and moved through three different slide positions, to be placed beside the parent's bed or in the corner so that the baby is always in reach. The mesh siding lets air circulate through, allowing you to see your baby quickly. And you can stow extra pajamas and supplies in the large storage basket underneath.

The Iora is a bedside cosleeper crib that is smaller and can fold flat. It also comes with a travel bag to allow it to be carried anywhere. Our mum testers were able to move it from room to room and felt that it was a good size for a bedside cot that was not too big or too small. They also liked the large storage basket, perfect for storing nappies or bedding.

This is an excellent choice for parents looking to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but don't want to share their beds, or whose partners might be suffering from mobility issues, such as back problems or arthritis. Our mom testers are thrilled with the ease with which they can access their child in the Iora and that it comes with an option to tilt the bed upwards to aid in reducing gas.

Our mothers are also thrilled that it meets NICE guidelines which state that you should place the infant in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys, pillows, etc). The mattress is also a good firm and comfortable for babies and sheets are readily available. It's not as light as other smaller bedside cribs however and if you're looking for something lighter and easier to move around with, consider one of the alternatives on our list.
